WaterWipes have been specifically developed to be as mild and pure as cotton wool and water, to help maintain the important skin barrier function of the stratum corneum, while offering the convenience of a wipe. They provide safe cleansing for the most delicate new-born skin and are so gentle they can also be used on premature babies.

WaterWipes are a non-medicated wipe option and contain minimal ingredients.

Made from 99.9% high purity water and a drop of Fruit Extract, WaterWipes are soap and fragrance free to help reduce the risk of drying out the skin and the potential development of contact dermatitis.

What makes WaterWipes different to other baby wipes?

WaterWipes are manufactured using a unique and patented technology within cleanroom conditions, an environment comparable to that used in the pharmaceutical industry, allowing us to produce a safe and effective baby wipe without the addition of unnecessary ingredients.

WaterWipes water undergoes a 7 stage water purification process and together with a unique patented technology, results in an ultra-pure wipe. The ultra-pure water delivers a soft feel on the skin and with a drop of fruit extract, a gentle skin conditioner, make WaterWipes a suitable alternative to cotton wool and regular water.

The Fruit Extract contains naturally occurring polyphenols and vitamin C, and is known to have antimicrobial properties to protect the skin from bacteria, as well as acting as a gentle skin cleanser and conditioner.¹

The WaterWipes story

WaterWipes, the world’s purest baby wipes, were developed by Edward McCloskey.

As a new father, Edward was searching for a safer, and purer alternative to standard baby wipes full of chemicals for his baby daughter, who suffered from sensitive skin and nappy rash. He wanted to create a product that was as mild and pure as using cotton wool and water, but as convenient as a wipe and safe for the most delicate skin.

Following many years of extensive scientific research and testing, WaterWipes were launched in Europe in 2010 by Edward’s company, Irish Breeze. WaterWipes are now available in 60 countries worldwide.
